The
Steigenberger Al Dau Resort uniquely features an on-site golf
course. This is a 9 hole par 3 pitch and putt course nestled
on the beach overlooking the turquoise waters of the Red Sea,
offering a challenge to all experienced golfers, with just a
green card required for play (unlimited handicap)*.
Open every day of the calendar year guests can play a relaxing game of golf day or night. The course is floodlit to enjoy the cool of the night during the hotter months.
An aqua driving practice range is available on the beach, where you can hit some balls out to the sea. Also open day and night with a professional teacher to give all the advice needed.
Golf Club House
Come and join us at the Golf Club House situated next to the
beach. Facilities include a well stocked pro shop, changing
rooms and showers.

Our concept was born of the Dau boat, which - in ancient times - provided a link between the East African coast and Pharaonic Egypt by transporting ebony and other precious goods by Dau boat up along the Red Sea coast, via the port of Hurghada, and all the way to the city of Thebes, now Luxor, where the pharaohs built their magnificent temples.
