Press News - promotion of the Arts with
a permanent Exhibit of Paintings from Germany.
Since
December 2007 guests and visitors alike
have a chance to view and to purchase high
quality, original acrylic-on-canvas paintings
of typical Egyptian village and landscape
scenes at the Steigenberger Al Dau Beach
Hotel.
A total of 12 paintings are displayed in
rotation in the hotel's lobby; these are
on loan from the German Galerie
Atta worldwide and come with well-sounding
names such as "Fata Morgana" or
"Town in the Egyptian Desert".
The gallery will be on display over the
coming three years.
To further demonstrate its commitment to
the arts, the Steigenberger Al Dau Beach
Hotel has recently opened an arts and crafts
shop in front of the hotel in the Hurghada
pedestrian zone, where tourists and locals
alike can support the local arts and crafts
community with their purchases. [more
